The Converse All Star Program is the world’s biggest creative program you’ve never heard of.
It’s not just about putting cool artists in colourful Chucks. It’s about backing young artists, and bringing their passion projects to life (while they wear colourful Chucks).
Each year, emerging creatives from around the globe pitch Converse for funding to make their debut album, their clothing collection, host an art exhibition, or whatever their vision is, into a reality.
To spotlight this talent, Converse wanted a vodcast where All Stars share their journey - where they’ve been, where they’re going, and what’s driving them.
And that’s how Splittin’ Fares was born.
We all know some of the juiciest conversations happen in the back seat of a rideshare. Each episode, our host rides along with a different All Star for an intimate chat about their creative journey - charting how the All Star Program helped take them from idea to world-stage, one ride at a time.
And while Splittin’ Fares might roll off the tongue now, it went through round_12_final_final.pdf levels of naming. I know most copywriters know the struggle. I thought I had a cracked it back in round 1 with “All Star Rating”…but sadly, it wasn’t to be.
