I think this might’ve been the briefest brief I’ve ever been given.
Liquorland client: “We want to connect Liquorland with the traditions of backyard cricket. And we’ve got three ex-players to shoot with. Cool?”

After that, I started thinking about all the backyard, beach, and driveway cricket games I’d played - and all the quirky rules that came with them.
And that’s how The Big Book of Backyard Cricket Rules was born.
Nathan Lyon, Ash Gardner, and Josh Hazlewood cracked open the humorously large book and brought to life rule #3421, “One hand, one bounce,” and rule #6578, “Break a window, you’re buying the next round”, in this social-first skit.
